  • Seabird Observer: NL

    The Seabird Observer course is an intensive training program that focuses on the ‘Eastern Canada seabirds at sea (ECSAS) standardized protocol for pelagic seabird surveys from moving and stationary platforms’ (Gjerdrum et al, 2012). The course is delivered over 4 weeks online with an at-sea practical session, which will take place on April 20, 2026, in the St. John's area of Newfoundland.

  • Canada-MMO: Bridging Program

    The C-MMO Bridging program is meant for those who have already successfully completed another recognized marine mammal certification and have global experience. This trainee is already familiar with the general processes involved in being an MMO and expectations. This course is delivered entirely online, there is no practical session.
